The Trilogy

The trilogy Beyond the Frame marks the curatorial starting point of moholinushk artspace.

Rather than presenting moholinushk's work as a retrospective whole, the starting point is an open echo chamber for new artistic dialogues.

Beyond the Frame is comprised of three exhibitions, each connecting moholinushk's works to contemporary positions (with one exception). Each exhibition explores different questions and approaches.

Beyond the Frame is more than just a title. It describes a movement: a shift away from the individual artwork and towards the space in between - the space between drawing and sound, body and gesture, memory and imagination.

This trilogy proposes working with open edges, in terms of both content and form. It invites us to experience moholinushk in new company and perceive ourselves beyond familiar categories.

Three exhibitions. Three spaces for reflection. Three opportunities to engage with art, the present and that which cannot easily be named.
