Exhibition Space in Zurich

moholinushk artspace, a new exhibition space in Zurich, was founded by Matti Weinberg in memory of his late wife, the artist Annick Tonti.

Working under the name moholinushk, she dedicated the last eight years of her life to art. Matti Weinberg invited Dorothea Strauss, a curator and transformation expert, to develop a curatorial concept for the space, using moholinushk's work as a starting point for a vibrant exhibition programme.

The result will inaugurate moholinushk artspace with a trilogy of exhibitions titled Beyond The Frame, placing moholinushk's work in dialogue with that of other artists.

Projects at moholinushk artspace are carefully conceived as cabinet exhibitions, designed to foster an intimate setting that encourages focus and engagement.

The moholinushk artspace stands for the conviction that art can have a transformative effect on many levels – thinking, feeling, and acting. Works of art open up new perspectives. They invite us to approach complex questions not with quick answers, but with openness, curiosity, and imagination.

This role of art is increasingly vital, especially in times of change—personal, social, ecological. Art serves as a training ground, helping us to tolerate ambiguity, experiment with new perspectives, and develop the resilience needed to navigate these changes.
